Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Field Service Specialist, Field Technician, or similar role.
  • Engineering, electronics, or equivalent technical experience, training, or education (degree preferred).
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to travel extensively up to 75% of the time, including interstate travel.
  • Ability to interpret technical documentation, equipment specifications, CAD drawings, and engineering materials.
  • Experience making field modifications and supporting PLC/HMI programming, preferably with Allen Bradley systems.
  • Strong understanding of process instrumentation (pressure, flow, temperature transmitters, valve actuators, calibration).
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with field service management tools, ERP/MRP systems, and continuous emissions monitoring systems.
  • Knowledge of safe handling, storage, and operation of equipment involving hazardous chemicals.
  • Familiarity with rotating equipment including dampers, actuators, controls, and seal air fans.

Responsibilities

  • Execute established field service processes and procedures while maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Perform on-site equipment installation, start-up, commissioning, testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
  • Diagnose technical issues involving mechanical, thermal, chemical, electrical, and control systems.
  • Ensure field service projects are completed within established budgets, timelines, and customer expectations.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, internal departments, and project teams to resolve issues.
  • Provide accurate reporting, documentation, and correspondence related to service activities.
  • Support planning and operational objectives through coordination with engineering, sales, and service teams.
  • Follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
