Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent work experience
Experience building highly distributed microservice architecture using Java 17/21, Spring Boot 3.x, and Gradle
Strong OOP skills, Design Patterns, and SOLID principles
Experience with complex projects in the public cloud, ideally AWS
Developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions
Creating and optimizing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions
Expertise with test-driven development and unit/integration/end-to-end testing
Experience with HTTP APIs, such as REST or GraphQL
Proficiency in integrating AI-assisted development tools into daily workflows
Strong English language communication and collaboration skills

Create prototypes and software design proposals that provide short-term business value while aligning with future-state product and architecture vision
Research and break down large initiatives into parallelizable chunks of work
Champion proposals through all phases of the Agile SDLC from design to implementation
Contribute to improving the core product build, CI/CD pipelines, and overall SDLC
Define and oversee the execution of the product architecture roadmap in collaboration with architects
Troubleshoot and eliminate root causes for production issues
Facilitate design discussions within and outside of the squad
Represent the team in technical discussions with Tech Leads, Operations, Product/UX, and external stakeholders
Provide mentorship to other developers through design reviews, pair programming, and code reviews
