Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 7+ years of experience in medical or pharmacy rebate operations at a PBM, health plan, or similar health care organization.
- Experience supporting operational workflows for medical or pharmacy claims or rebates.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, SQL, and/or similar business analytic or data modeling tools.
- Proficient in Python, Java, Javascript, or other programming languages.
- Familiarity with Medispan or First Databank drug reference systems.
- Working knowledge of medical coding systems (HCPCS and CPT).
- Experience working closely with technology teams supporting, implementing, or optimizing business applications or operational systems.
- Superior operational problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvements and automation.
- Experience working with large, complex databases and process automation.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Responsibilities
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to operationalize the rebate administration platform for medical medication rebate portfolios.
- Serve as the primary liaison between analytics and technology teams to translate operational and business needs into technical requirements.
- Partner with technology teams to define, prioritize, test, and implement platform enhancements to improve efficiency and user experience.
- Troubleshoot platform and data issues to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
- Develop new analytics and technology to strengthen the evaluation of medical medication contract performance.
- Support rebate administration operations including invoicing, reconciliation, and reporting analytics.
- Facilitate data ingestion and standardization of critical medical medication rebate data extracts received from health plans.
