Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 7+ years of experience in medical or pharmacy rebate operations at a PBM, health plan, or similar health care organization.
  • Experience supporting operational workflows for medical or pharmacy claims or rebates.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, SQL, and/or similar business analytic or data modeling tools.
  • Proficient in Python, Java, Javascript, or other programming languages.
  • Familiarity with Medispan or First Databank drug reference systems.
  • Working knowledge of medical coding systems (HCPCS and CPT).
  • Experience working closely with technology teams supporting, implementing, or optimizing business applications or operational systems.
  • Superior operational problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvements and automation.
  • Experience working with large, complex databases and process automation.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to operationalize the rebate administration platform for medical medication rebate portfolios.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between analytics and technology teams to translate operational and business needs into technical requirements.
  • Partner with technology teams to define, prioritize, test, and implement platform enhancements to improve efficiency and user experience.
  • Troubleshoot platform and data issues to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
  • Develop new analytics and technology to strengthen the evaluation of medical medication contract performance.
  • Support rebate administration operations including invoicing, reconciliation, and reporting analytics.
  • Facilitate data ingestion and standardization of critical medical medication rebate data extracts received from health plans.
