Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 7+ years of professional software development experience, including experience leading technically complex projects.
  • Strong expertise in C#, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, microservices, and REST API development.
  • Experience designing and building data integration pipelines and service-to-service integrations.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, including services like ECS/Fargate, SQS, S3, and Lambda.
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and SOLID design practices.
  • Experience with test-driven development and automated testing methodologies.
  • Familiarity with modern frontend technologies including HTML, JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, React, jQuery, or similar frameworks.
  • Proficiency with Git-based version control systems and CI/CD workflows.
  • Experience working with SQL Server, T-SQL development, query optimization, and database performance tuning.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and agentic AI technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deliver complex software features across data platforms, APIs, and integration services while ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Lead technical initiatives throughout the full software development lifecycle, including planning, estimation, development, testing, deployment, documentation, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive architectural decisions related to data integration pipelines, API services, and cloud infrastructure evolution.
  • Build and maintain high-quality backend solutions using modern development practices, design principles, and engineering standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve complex software defects, performance issues, and integration challenges.
  • Analyze and optimize database performance, including SQL query analysis, tuning, and troubleshooting.
  • Create and maintain automated testing strategies, including unit and integration tests, to ensure software quality.
  • Participate in code reviews and establish best practices for clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Support AI-assisted development initiatives by experimenting with emerging tools and helping define effective team workflows.
  • Mentor and coach developers by sharing technical knowledge, improving engineering practices, and supporting professional growth.
