Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience
- At least 2 years in a lead or senior-most capacity on a team or project
- Deep, current, hands-on expertise in TypeScript, Node.js and React
- Experience shipping production web applications end to end
- Exceptional English communication (written and verbal)
- Client-facing experience including presenting work and running demos
- Daily, hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g. Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot)
- Proven self-management skills in fully remote, low-supervision environments
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical delivery of client projects across 2-week sprint cycles from kickoff to launch
- Design and build full-stack applications in TypeScript, Node.js and React
- Run sprint demos and showcases directly with clients
- Own day-to-day client communication over Slack and email including updates, clarifications, and managing expectations
- Contribute to technical proposals, scoping and estimates for new engagements
- Make pragmatic architecture and technology decisions that balance speed with quality
- Set the technical bar for the team including code reviews and standards
- Use AI-assisted development tooling as a core part of the daily workflow
