Requirements
- Proficiency in full-stack JavaScript development, including React and Node.js.
- Deep experience integrating AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor) into daily development workflows.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on quantitative rigor and data-driven decision making.
- Ability to work independently with founder-level ownership and minimal supervision.
- Strong communication skills for scoping projects directly with business stakeholders.
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving issues across entire application stacks.
- Demonstrated ability to balance multiple domains and business contexts simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel for periodic in-person team sessions (including a paid 1-day working session in Toronto).
Responsibilities
- Manage features from initial conversation to production, ensuring they deliver intended business results.
- Build across the full stack using JavaScript, React (frontend), and Node.js (backend).
- Develop and maintain customer-facing storefronts, internal admin tools, third-party integrations, and data pipelines.
- Switch contexts efficiently between different marketplace businesses, domains, and codebases.
- Utilize agentic AI workflows (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor) to parallelize work, write tests, and automate tasks.
- Collaborate directly with non-technical stakeholders to define scope and solve real business problems.
