Requirements
- 4-year college degree or equivalent experience, ideally in a scientific or health-related field.
- Minimum 5 years of industry experience in clinical research, including clinical operations experience in a pharmaceutical company or CRO.
- Working knowledge of ICH GCP guidelines and the clinical development process.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally, including overnight stays.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Proven experience in risk management and change management.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate and manage conflicts independently.
Responsibilities
- Develop, mentor, and coach Clinical Trial Managers and Principal Clinical Trial Managers to advance their skillsets.
- Collaborate with Clinical Operations and functional teams to enhance procedures and improve quality, consistency, and efficiency.
- Provide technical support and strategic oversight for scope definition, risk identification, and resource planning.
- Manage the performance of direct reports and provide ongoing feedback to achieve departmental goals.
- Ensure study compliance with SOPs, regulatory requirements, and ICH GCP principles.
- Partner with the Resourcing team to meet clinical operations staffing needs.
- Ensure all CTMs have necessary training, systems access, and materials to deliver on expectations.
