Requirements
- Several years of software engineering experience
- Roughly 2+ years of direct people management experience
- Track record of leading delivery in product engineering
- Solid technical foundation to engage in architecture and code reviews
- Experience working in an iterative, agile-style delivery model
- Familiarity with React, Python, and AWS best practices
- Strong communication and trust-building skills with cross-functional partners
- Experience in B2B SaaS or hospitality space preferred
- Experience maturing engineering processes in early or fast-growing organizations preferred
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows preferred
Responsibilities
- Manage engineers through coaching, feedback, and career development
- Oversee hiring, onboarding, performance, and retention
- Partner with Product and Design to translate roadmaps into executable plans
- Manage capacity, estimation, and prioritization for two squads
- Remove blockers and manage cross-squad dependencies
- Drive technical direction and provide guidance on architecture and design
- Maintain high engineering quality and operational health standards
