Requirements

  • 6+ years of technical product marketing experience at a B2B software company.
  • Meaningful professional experience with database products.
  • Fluent understanding of the database and AI infrastructure landscape, including vector databases, embedded/edge AI, and autonomous operations.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts for technical audiences (DBAs, platform engineers, ISV architects) and business decision-makers.
  • Proven track record building CxO-level content from scratch, including decks, briefs, and pitch narratives.
  • Experience with OEM and ISV go-to-market strategies.
  • Familiarity with both developer-led growth models (e.g., Try & Buy, Discord, Docker Hub) and enterprise field motions.
  • Experience operating cross-functionally across global product, sales, and field teams.
  • Excellent storytelling and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Own GTM strategy for Actian's vector, embedded edge, and multi-model databases across acquisition and cross-sell motions.
  • Develop positioning and messaging narratives for both legacy database modernization and new AI-integrated features.
  • Lead monthly end-to-end product launches, coordinating with product management, web, design, and sales enablement teams.
  • Produce field enablement materials including datasheets, pitch decks, prospecting guides, and training videos.
  • Create MOFU and BOFU content to support demand generation and cross-sell programs.
  • Develop content and enablement materials for global user days, events, PR, and analyst briefings.
