Requirements

  • Must currently be active-duty military.
  • Must be eligible for the DOD SkillBridge program.
  • Must have 180 days or less remaining in the military to apply.
  • Proven experience in recruiting or sourcing, with a focus on veteran recruitment.
  • Familiarity with military occupational specialties (MOS) related to automotive and mechanical fields.
  • Understanding of the automotive industry and the skills required for automotive technician roles.
  • Knowledge of military transition programs and resources.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and attract qualified veterans for automotive technician roles using various sourcing strategies.
  • Develop and maintain a network of veteran organizations, job fairs, and military transition programs.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with veterans to understand their skills, experiences, and career aspirations.
  • Coordinate and facilitate the full recruitment process from initial contact through onboarding.
  • Collaborate with the Lead Recruiter and Program Manager to understand technical requirements for open roles.
  • Represent the company at military career fairs and veteran-focused events.
  • Create and share content highlighting career opportunities in the automotive industry.
  • Provide guidance and support to veterans throughout the application and onboarding process.
