Requirements
- Proven experience in rail and transit consultancy or a closely related engineering field.
- Expertise in Fleet Strategy and Rolling Stock Procurement.
- Experience in Vehicle/System Engineering, Propulsion & Energy Systems, or Vehicle Maintenance & Facilities.
- Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing, coaching, and developing teams of professionals.
- Demonstrated history of building and maintaining key client relationships at a senior level.
- Experience managing sales pipelines and pursuing large-scale programmatic or integrator opportunities.
- Ability to define and implement performance management standards and project management benchmarks.
- Strong strategic mindset with the ability to scale practices and ensure coherent domain performance.
- Experience in cross-functional collaboration, resource planning, and inter-domain coordination.
Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee practices including Fleet Strategy, Rolling Stock Procurement, Vehicle/System Engineering, Propulsion & Energy Systems, and Vehicle Maintenance & Facilities.
- Maintain key client relationships and interact with client organizations at a leadership level.
- Drive domain growth and manage productivity across Principal-led groups.
- Lead programmatic and integrator opportunities, acting as Pursuit Lead to develop strategy and convert leads into paid engagements.
- Collaborate with other Directors to develop organic business development strategies and coordinate resource needs.
- Partner with Principals to manage promotion and compensation planning and ensure consistent leveling standards.
- Define skill needs and shape curriculum priorities in partnership with the EVP Delivery Excellence.
