Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent data center sales/account management experience.
- 5+ years in account management or outside sales experience in data center sales.
- 2+ years leading strategic accounts.
- Knowledge of selling power distribution, data center infrastructure products, and data center cooling (HDLC).
- Knowledge of direct-to-customer sales environment operations.
- Experience with Salesforce.com or a similar CRM.
- Ability to work in a self-directed manner and handle multiple tasks or projects.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to travel 20-30% of the time.
- Experience in program/project management is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact to ensure strategic accounts are satisfied and their business needs are met.
- Create strategies that benefit the company and its strategic accounts.
- Set strategies for targeting and penetrating new accounts.
- Lead all aspects of and grow large, sophisticated accounts.
- Work with cross-functional data solutions partners to drive growth.
- Meet sales quotas with strategic accounts.
- Develop and grow sales, negotiate contracts, and ensure legal compliance.
- Identify new product categories or markets in partnership with sales and marketing teams.
