Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, cyber security, or management information systems.
- At least 3-4 years of experience performing IT audit engagements at a Big 4 or other audit/consulting firm.
- Proficiency in executing SOC 1, SOC 2, SOC 3, and HIPAA assessments.
- Ability to work individually as well as collaboratively.
- High degree of motivation.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Active or working towards CISA, CPA, CISSP, ISO27001 Lead Auditor, or PCI QSA certification.
Responsibilities
- Execute day-to-day IT audit engagement activities for SOC 1, 2, 3 and HIPAA frameworks.
- Evaluate the design and effectiveness of client technology controls.
- Identify and communicate IT audit findings to management.
- Identify performance improvement opportunities for assigned clients.
- Maintain proactive communication with clients and internal team members.
- Supervise and provide performance management for IT audit staff.
- Provide weekly status reports to management regarding engagement progress and potential issues.
- Train staff members within the IT audit team.
