Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum five years of experience in project management, including scope, time, cost, and risk management.
- Proven experience managing cross-functional teams in a financial or operations environment.
- PMI-ACP certification required.
- Proficiency with project management software.
- Ability to learn credit union core and ancillary systems.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Strong logic and reasoning skills for complex problem solving.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple competing priorities.
Responsibilities
- Manage large, complex projects and programs simultaneously in alignment with organizational strategy and 3-5 year roadmaps.
- Mentor other project managers and provide guidance on project management methodologies, policies, and procedures.
- Identify issues in troubled projects and implement effective solutions to ensure successful outcomes.
- Define, track, and report on measurable project outcomes for stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Lead cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and business process optimization.
- Identify and mitigate risks across projects, escalating critical issues to stakeholders as needed.
