Requirements

  • Experience managing an end-to-end sales pipeline, including prospecting, customer acquisition, upselling, channel sales, customer success, and forecasting.
  • Strong ability to communicate effectively with technical audiences, including developers, quantitative professionals, and financial technology users.
  • Understanding of financial markets, quantitative trading, or market microstructure is highly preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills and experience maintaining accurate sales records.
  • Ability to automate or optimize sales processes using CRM tools such as HubSpot.
  • Strong professional communication skills suitable for enterprise financial products and institutional customers.
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to provide consultative, value-driven sales experiences rather than transactional selling.
  • Ability to understand customer pain points, evaluate product fit, and build trust throughout complex sales cycles.
  • Comfortable working in a startup environment with evolving processes, limited resources, and high ownership expectations.
  • Technical familiarity with GitHub and programming languages such as Python, C++, or Rust is a plus.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a global remote environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full technical sales process, from initial customer inquiries and data demonstrations to addressing technical questions and resolving data-related challenges.
  • Support customers by providing relevant data samples, technical guidance, and tailored solutions based on their business requirements.
  • Develop practical market data examples and use cases using technologies such as Python, C++, and/or Rust to help customers understand potential applications.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and industry stakeholders, including executive-level contacts.
  • Gather customer feedback, testimonials, and case studies to support product improvement and business growth.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, documentation, CRM records, and reporting processes to ensure visibility across the sales pipeline.
  • Identify new business opportunities by monitoring industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activity.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align sales initiatives with business objectives and deliver a seamless customer experience.
  • Support customer success initiatives by understanding user needs, identifying friction points, and ensuring long-term satisfaction throughout the customer journey.
