Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in event management, event operations, experiential marketing, or related program management roles.
  • Proven experience managing complex events involving multiple stakeholders, vendors, timelines, and budgets.
  • Ability to travel approximately 35% of the time across North America, with potential international travel.
  • Strong project management capabilities with exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience managing agencies, production partners, contracts, and event-related budgets.
  • Familiarity with event technology platforms, registration systems, lead retrieval tools, mobile applications, and marketing technology workflows.
  • Experience building operational frameworks, processes, or playbooks that enable programs to scale.
  • Comfortable leveraging AI tools to improve workflows and create repeatable operational processes.
  • Experience supporting developer, technical, enterprise, SaaS, cloud, or technology-focused events is highly preferred.
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic environment where priorities and requirements evolve.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Own the operational execution of a global event portfolio, including conferences, developer-focused programs, roadshows, digital events, and community activations.
  • Manage event timelines, project plans, milestones, dependencies, and resources across multiple concurrent programs.
  • Build and maintain scalable event operations frameworks, including planning templates, run-of-show processes, and repeatable playbooks.
  • Manage the complete event technology ecosystem, including registration platforms, attendee management tools, mobile applications, and lead retrieval systems.
  • Coordinate vendors, agencies, venues, production partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Own event budgets from planning through reconciliation, including purchase orders, invoices, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Partner with marketing, sales, product, and community teams to translate strategic goals into operational plans.
  • Track event performance metrics, pipeline impact, and return on investment.
