Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in long-form SEO content writing, including freelance or internship experience.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles, including topical authority, search intent, and on-page optimization.
- Experience conducting SERP research and translating findings into actionable content strategies.
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills with the ability to adapt content for different audiences.
- Familiarity with content marketing strategies, editorial planning, and digital publishing workflows.
- Experience managing freelancers or external content contributors.
- Knowledge of AI-powered content tools and their application in content workflows.
- Proficiency with SEO and analytics tools for research and performance tracking.
- Understanding of software testing concepts, technology topics, or developer-focused industries is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and project management abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, remote-first environment with multiple priorities.
Responsibilities
- Support the creation and execution of content roadmaps focused on building topical authority across key themes.
- Conduct search engine results page (SERP) analysis to identify content opportunities, audience intent, and competitive insights.
- Develop detailed content briefs aligned with user intent, SEO objectives, target audiences, and brand guidelines.
- Apply on-page SEO best practices, including keyword optimization, headings, metadata, internal linking, and structured content improvements.
- Research industry trends and topics to create relevant and valuable content strategies.
- Collaborate with freelancers, agencies, and internal stakeholders to manage content production workflows.
- Use AI-assisted content tools and workflows to improve efficiency and scale content creation.
- Review and edit content to ensure accuracy, quality, consistency, and alignment with strategic goals.
- Monitor content performance and use analytics insights to recommend improvements.
- Support ongoing initiatives to increase organic visibility and audience engagement.
