Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred (such as MBA, PharmD, RN, or PA).
  • 9–12 years of progressive experience in patient access, market access, reimbursement strategy, or related healthcare fields.
  • Proven experience developing and executing enterprise-level patient services strategies with measurable business impact.
  • Strong leadership background with experience influencing cross-functional teams, vendors, and external partners.
  • Deep understanding of payer systems, including Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial reimbursement environments.
  • Ability to translate complex healthcare access challenges into actionable strategic solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance requirements, and privacy frameworks, including HIPAA.
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and executive influencing skills.
  • Experience using analytics, data insights, and digital solutions to build scalable patient access programs.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and business acumen.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead the strategic vision and roadmap for patient access programs and reimbursement hub services.
  • Design scalable patient services models that enhance access, engagement, adherence, and treatment outcomes.
  • Establish performance frameworks, metrics, and governance models to support continuous improvement and strategic accountability.
  • Optimize operating models, policies, and compliance processes to adapt to evolving healthcare regulations and market conditions.
  • Analyze healthcare access trends, reimbursement dynamics, and industry developments to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders on patient services and access strategies.
  • Collaborate with commercial, market access, trade, distribution, compliance, legal, and external partners to develop integrated access solutions.
  • Drive innovation through digital transformation and technology-enabled solutions that improve scalability and patient engagement.
