Requirements
- 8 years of experience in clinical trial operations, including research grant administration.
- At least 4 years of management level experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Care Administration, Science, or related field (or 4 additional years of experience).
- Familiarity with essential FDA regulations governing clinical trials and Investigational New Drugs.
- Proven experience managing multiple projects within a multi-site network.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Goal-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise and manage staff.
- Must reside within the United States.
Responsibilities
- Perform grants administration and management for the Pediatric Early Phase Clinical Trial Network (PEP-CTN).
- Develop and manage an annual grant budget exceeding $3,000,000 in collaboration with finance and grants departments.
- Oversee and manage PEP-CTN member institution performance, including assessments, recompetition, and terminations.
- Lead clinical trial planning and implementation activities for industry-sponsored early phase trials.
- Establish and oversee quality assurance plans, targets, and metrics for trial teams.
- Supervise, mentor, and coach direct reports and team members to foster professional development.
- Collaborate with COG and PEP-CTN leadership to implement organization-wide process improvement initiatives.
