Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a design-related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant product design experience.
  • Portfolio demonstrating leadership on complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to and evolve design systems at scale.
  • Experience designing digital product experiences in a SaaS, platform, or workflow-heavy software environment.
  • Proficiency with Figma and modern design/collaboration tools.
  • Experience using AI tools responsibly for research synthesis, ideation, and prototyping.
  • Expert understanding of information hierarchy, interaction design, and accessibility.
  • Experience conducting or synthesizing usability testing and behavioral analytics.
  • Strong ability to work effectively as part of a product trio with Product Managers and Engineers.
  • Exceptional communication skills for explaining design rationale, tradeoffs, and recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead product design end-to-end for complex, high-impact initiatives spanning multiple products or platform-level concerns.
  • Drive user understanding, workflow clarity, interaction quality, usability validation, and experience tradeoffs in partnership with Product Managers and Engineers.
  • Create design artifacts including flows, wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity designs, and handoff specifications.
  • Define modern experience patterns for AI-enabled features including trust signals, disclosure patterns, and uncertainty states.
  • Mentor and support junior and mid-level designers through feedback, pairing, critique facilitation, and informal coaching.
  • Identify systemic experience problems and gaps in design standards to proactively propose and lead improvement efforts.
  • Champion cross-functional culture by leading design reviews and establishing team norms for problem solving and iteration.
