Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant post-education experience in the electrical transmission industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required (multi-state preferred).
- Strong understanding of transmission line fundamentals and PLS-CADD operation.
- Knowledge of NESC, RUS, and/or GO-95 standards.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office software suite.
- Proven track record of upholding workplace safety.
- Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute the engineering of transmission projects up to 765kV.
- Develop and maintain project schedules and forecast resource requirements.
- Conduct project meetings and communicate with clients regarding project status.
- Facilitate and adhere to internal QA/QC procedures.
- Mentor staff and support technical development within the department.
- Provide business improvement methodologies and support recruitment efforts.
- Collaborate with Project Managers on scope, schedule, and budget development.
