Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant post-education experience in the electrical transmission industry.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required (multi-state preferred).
- Strong understanding of transmission line fundamentals.
- Proficiency in PLS-CADD operation.
- Knowledge of NESC, RUS, and/or GO-95 design standards.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and oral.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office software suite.
- Proven track record of upholding workplace safety policies.
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute the engineering of transmission projects up to 765kV.
- Develop project plans, create and maintain project schedules, and establish budgets.
- Facilitate project meetings with internal team members and external clients.
- Provide technical leadership, research, and concept development for transmission projects.
- Mentor junior staff and support recruitment and business development efforts.
- Ensure adherence to QA/QC procedures and safety standards.
- Coordinate material procurement, construction specifications, and construction support.
- Forecast project requirements and support resource planning.
