Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience.
- 5+ years of experience in a strategic technical leadership role.
- Proven experience leading engineering teams working on API design, abstractions, frameworks, or client libraries.
- Proven track record of delivering pragmatic solutions that accelerate business growth.
- Ability to shift between high-level architectural discussions and detailed coding.
- Clear and persuasive writing and in-person communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Own technical strategy by defining the architecture for core Identity systems and making build vs. buy vs. partner decisions.
- Lead 0-1 platform development, including building the Identity Store, Networked Identity platform, and advanced fraud detection pipelines.
- Drive cross-functional alignment by acting as the primary technical voice in roadmap and resourcing discussions with ML, product, legal, and engineering teams.
- Raise the technical bar by setting engineering standards across ML, backend, mobile, and front-end; leading design reviews; and mentoring senior engineers.
- Operate with full ownership, including accountability for the reliability, scalability, security, observability, and alerting of the systems you design.
