Requirements
- 5+ years of commercial experience in backend development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Node.js and PHP (8.3/Laravel).
- Experience with backend-focused development, including service-to-service integrations.
- Understanding of web-based and service-oriented system design.
- Working knowledge of Linux-based environments.
- Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Experience with Git version control.
- Knowledge of SDLC, development, testing, and release processes.
- Strong communication skills and ability to clearly describe problems and solutions.
- Willingness to participate in rotating pager duty/on-call support.
- English level: Intermediate+ or higher.
- Full PST time coverage is required.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, test, and deliver backend services and web applications to production.
- Build performant and scalable solutions for high-volume distributed systems.
- Work with server-side technologies, including Node.js and PHP 8.3/Laravel.
- Collaborate with engineering teams, product managers, and business stakeholders to improve the technology stack.
- Work with databases, data storage solutions, and caching engines like Redis or Aerospike.
- Contribute to system architecture and prepare technical design documentation.
- Participate in Agile development processes and take ownership of software projects.
- Perform code reviews and maintain code quality.
- Support application troubleshooting and production issue resolution in Linux-based environments.
