Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, equivalent degree, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of software engineering experience using PHP frameworks (Laravel or Symfony).
- Advanced proficiency in Object Oriented Programming (O.O.P.).
- Practical experience with testing frameworks like PHPUnit.
- Advanced SQL skills for backend development and performance optimization.
- Experience working in structured Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Codex, Model Context Protocol).
- Proficiency in Git version control and Jira for task management.
- Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle best practices.
- Basic familiarity with React is considered a plus.
- Advanced English skills are considered a plus.
Responsibilities
- Drive backend architecture decisions and implement robust design patterns for scalability.
- Deconstruct large-scale product requirements into technical tasks and specifications.
- Write clean, compliant code and provide constructive feedback during technical code reviews.
- Research emerging frameworks and advocate for strategic technical upgrades and refactoring.
- Independently lead complex bug investigations and root-cause analysis through to production.
- Collaborate with Product and Design teams to ensure alignment and facilitate smooth API integrations.
