Requirements
- 7+ years of industry experience in backend, infrastructure, developer tools, or app platforms.
- Technical leadership in the execution of large scale projects and day-to-day troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in Go.
- Proficiency in Typescript.
- Experience with Redis.
- Experience with distributed SQL.
- Experience with Kubernetes.
- Ability to mentor and coach other engineers.
- Strong understanding of software engineering best practices.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and self-directed work style.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating in a fully-remote environment.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain the underlying infrastructure of the developer platform.
- Build new features for external developers such as SQL db as a service.
- Contribute to the entire development cycle: technical design, development, test, experimentation, analysis, and launch.
- Review code and design docs, providing feedback on product specs and mocks.
- Contribute meaningfully to team strategy and participate in planning for the future.
