Requirements
- 7+ years of industry experience in backend, infrastructure, developer tools, or app platforms.
- Technical leader in the execution of large scale projects.
- Experience in day-to-day troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in Go, Typescript, Redis, distributed SQL, and Kubernetes.
- Proven ability to mentor and coach other engineers.
- Strong software engineering best practices.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to act as a startup CEO.
- Self-directed, innovative, and biased towards action in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a fully-remote environment.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain the underlying infrastructure of the developer platform.
- Build new features for external developers such as SQL db as a service.
- Contribute to the entire development cycle: technical design, development, test, experimentation, analysis, and launch.
- Review code and design docs, providing feedback on product specs and mocks.
- Contribute meaningfully to team strategy and participate in planning for the future.
