Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Proven experience on teams building developer tools, agent/AI products, CLIs, or similar technical surfaces.
- Strong technical background with experience providing guidance on architecture, code quality, and trade-offs.
- Hands-on experience using and reasoning about coding agents (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor) with clear opinions on human-agent workflows.
- Experience shipping products consumed by or built for AI agents (e.g., MCP servers, agent SDKs).
- Customer-facing experience, including discovery calls and design partnerships.
- Experience partnering with Product and Design to take features from idea to shipped.
- Async-first communication skills and experience in a globally distributed remote team.
- Proficiency in Go, TypeScript, React, GraphQL APIs, PostgreSQL, and Docker/Kubernetes is a plus.
- Experience as a Team or Tech Lead is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical and product direction for the Code Plane team, driving projects from issue to ship.
- Define roadmaps and scope features by translating customer feedback into concrete plans.
- Own product surfaces including Batch Changes, Agentic Batch Changes, Code Monitors, Code Insights, and the src CLI.
- Build and iterate on AI agent integrations, ensuring products are optimized for agent workflows.
- Mentor team members and establish high-trust relationships within the team.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Solutions Engineering to incorporate customer feedback into product development.
