Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Strong understanding of IFRS and/or local GAAP principles.
- Experience working within multinational or Shared Service environments.
- Strong experience working with SAP.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience within service-based, travel, or events industries is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and post general ledger journals in line with accounting policies and reporting requirements.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of general ledger and balance sheet accounts.
- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations.
- Support accurate and timely month-end and year-end close activities.
- Manage accruals, prepayments, and other period-end adjustments.
- Support VAT, indirect tax, and statutory compliance activities.
- Review and reconcile intercompany transactions and balances.
- Support internal and external audit activities through provision of documentation and analysis.
- Collaborate with Shared Service teams to ensure consistent accounting practices.
