Requirements
- 6+ years of relevant experience setting design system vision and driving adoption.
- Strong portfolio or case studies demonstrating feature shipping and design system impact.
- Regular user of LLMs (Claude, ChatGPT) with demonstrable relevant AI projects.
- Proficiency with modern design tooling: Figma, design tokens, component libraries, sandboxes, and prototyping tools.
- Technical fluency in React, TypeScript, and Storybook.
- Experience working with APIs and automation platforms.
- Ability to navigate performance tradeoffs and wire systems together.
- Expertise in accessibility compliance (WCAG AA standards).
- Ability to prioritize work across high-urgency projects and drive strategic impact.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to act as a strategic operator.
Responsibilities
- Design, refine and ship reusable and accessible components, tokens, and interaction patterns for web and mobile.
- Contribute code to production and support Product Designers using agentic coding tools.
- Establish LLM guidelines and configure internal tooling to facilitate AI-assisted design workflows.
- Define and maintain visual language documentation, component libraries, and UI patterns for both humans and AI agents.
- Improve the contribution model to enable teams to effectively scale components from product use cases.
- Establish governance, contribution models, and WCAG AA accessibility standards in partnership with leadership.
