Requirements
- 6+ years of professional experience in software engineering.
- 3+ years of experience building and shipping production software in product teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and system design capabilities.
- Hands-on coding proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript.
- Experience with APIs, services, and data pipelines.
- Proficiency with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
- Experience with observability and production monitoring.
- Understanding of modern AI application building and evaluation concepts.
- Proven ability to translate data into product improvements through experimentation and metrics.
- Ability to work within Eastern Standard Time (EST) business hours.
Responsibilities
- Own delivery for significant features or systems from design and requirements clarification to execution and iteration.
- Build and maintain reliable services and workflows that support AI features in production.
- Define quality metrics, test strategies, and evaluation approaches, automating processes wherever possible.
- Run structured experiments, interpret results, and translate findings into product improvements.
- Improve operational readiness, including deployment automation, monitoring, alerting, and performance optimization.
- Mentor teammates through design feedback, code reviews, and practical guidance.
