Requirements
- 2–5 years of Accounts Payable or related accounting experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets.
- Experience working with NetSuite or other accounting software is an asset.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Quick learner with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Process supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Review invoices for appropriate coding, approvals, supporting documentation, and sales tax treatment.
- Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies by partnering with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Support vendor onboarding by collecting required documentation and maintaining accurate vendor master records.
- Prepare and execute scheduled vendor payment runs in accordance with company policies.
- Process employee expense reports and manage the corporate credit card program.
- Prepare operating expense (OPEX) accruals and routine journal entries for month-end close.
- Prepare supporting schedules for indirect tax filings and maintain records for audits.
