Requirements
- Experience early in your career at a top-tier law firm, ideally in a corporate practice.
- Deep experience in healthcare as counsel to healthtech companies or in-house at a healthcare/healthtech business.
- Proven ability to adopt a practical, business-minded approach to legal work.
- Strong judgment with the ability to balance risk, speed, and business priorities.
- Ability to work independently and own complex legal matters from start to finish.
- Experience managing outside counsel and driving workstreams without close oversight.
- Experience building legal systems, processes, and functions from the ground up.
Responsibilities
- Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve legal questions and enable business momentum.
- Lead commercial legal operations, including customer, vendor, and partner agreements.
- Develop and implement scalable legal and compliance processes to support growth.
- Manage key healthcare regulatory and compliance areas.
- Design legal and compliance infrastructure for insurance billing operations.
- Support privacy, information security, and diligence processes for future financings.
- Oversee ongoing corporate legal needs including employment, IP, governance, and tax.
