Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with a track record of shipping production systems.
- Experience operating as a senior contributor on a team.
- Experience working across the full stack (front-end or back-end leaning).
- Proficiency with React and React Native.
- Primary backend experience with Ruby on Rails.
- Nice-to-have: Kotlin or Java experience.
- Fluent in agentic AI-assisted development workflows across the full lifecycle.
- Strong engineering judgment to verify AI-generated code and identify risks.
- Maker-owner mindset with a focus on long-term product impact.
- Ability to navigate complex, regulated financial product environments.
- Demonstrated technical leadership, mentorship, and effective communication skills.
- Bias toward driving process and engineering improvements.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of a domain and drive its growth through end-to-end product development.
- Build full-stack features using React, React Native, and Ruby on Rails.
- Design systems to handle regulatory and compliance requirements, complex data structures, and varied workflows.
- Influence architecture decisions, mentor teammates, and define technical strategy.
- Leverage agentic AI-centric workflows to ship production-grade software faster and safer.
- Identify and fix process or infrastructure bottlenecks to improve team efficiency.
- Collaborate across engineering, product, design, compliance, and operations teams.
