Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in backend software development, ideally working on customer-focused products.
  • Strong proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, or comparable backend programming languages.
  • Deep understanding of backend architecture, including microservices, API design, distributed systems, and software design patterns.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform and related services including databases and serverless technologies.
  • Familiarity with modern software engineering practices, scalable system design, and performance optimization.
  • Experience actively using AI-powered development tools such as GitHub Copilot, LLM-based assistants, or similar technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to deliver reliable, scalable technical solutions.
  • Experience working with agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to balance technical excellence with business and user needs.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and microservices that support a high-performance cybersecurity platform.
  • Own technical initiatives across the product lifecycle, contributing to architecture decisions, feature development, infrastructure improvements, and platform scalability.
  • Build and enhance backend services using modern technologies, ensuring reliability, performance, maintainability, and strong engineering practices.
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and customer-facing teams to understand requirements, incorporate feedback, and deliver solutions aligned with user needs.
  • Translate customer challenges into actionable technical improvements while advocating for customer experience across product decisions.
  • Drive improvements in system architecture, APIs, integrations, performance optimization, and development workflows.
  • Work independently on complex engineering initiatives while collaborating effectively with globally distributed teams.
  • Contribute to agile development processes, CI/CD practices, code quality improvements, and continuous product evolution.
