Requirements
- 4-year degree in a technical field (Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related).
- 7-8 years of experience as a QA Engineer, Software Test Engineer, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of software quality practices including test planning, defect management, traceability, and risk-based testing.
- Experience testing web applications, APIs, integrations, workflows, and business rules.
- Experience with tools such as Postman, Jira, or Azure DevOps.
- Proficiency building and maintaining automated tests using Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar frameworks.
- Ability to understand relational databases, ER diagrams, data workflows, and table relationships.
- Proficiency writing SQL queries to validate data accuracy and integrity.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
- Organized, accountable, flexible, and collaborative working style.
- Interest in healthcare technology and real-world software performance.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute test strategies for healthcare and medical software applications.
- Create and maintain test cases, exploratory testing approaches, regression testing suites, and risk-based testing strategies.
- Build, maintain, and improve automated tests where they provide meaningful value.
- Perform manual and exploratory testing when human judgment, investigation, or domain understanding is needed.
- Validate front-end and back-end functionality, REST APIs, workflows, integrations, business rules, database interactions, and data integrity.
- Write clear defect reports, document risks, and communicate findings in a way that helps the team make good decisions.
- Work within Estenda’s ISO 13485 registered Quality Management System, documentation standards, and applicable regulatory expectations.
- Use approved AI tools where appropriate to support productivity, test design, documentation, analysis, and testing efficiency.
