Requirements
- Master’s degree or doctorate in psychology, counseling, social work, or a relevant field.
- Active LCSW license in good standing for Arizona, Georgia, Indiana, Minnesota, or Ohio.
- 3+ years of relevant experience delivering Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, relaxation strategies, and Motivational Interviewing.
- Ability to communicate effectively with other care providers like MDs and Registered Dietitians.
- Proficiency with common administrative tools like Zoom, Slack, Office, and Google Drive.
- Competence in electronic charting and experience with telehealth platforms.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including MDs and Dietitians to provide coordinated patient care.
- Utilize evidence-based interventions such as CBT, relaxation strategies, Motivational Interviewing, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
- Complete biopsychosocial assessments to design and implement goals for patients with GI conditions.
- Maintain accurate health records and encounters in electronic health records while following clinical protocols.
- Participate in professional training and clinical coordination meetings.
- Contribute to the development of psychological best practices and team feedback.
