Requirements
- 2+ years in a senior software engineering role, ideally in a startup environment.
- Strong backend fundamentals and deep commercial experience with Go, or a strong systems background in another language and the drive to master Go fast.
- Extensive experience with AWS, event-driven architecture, and serverless infrastructure like AWS Lambda.
- Fluent in designing and building RESTful APIs.
- Solid grasp of microservice and serverless architectures.
- AI-native approach; must already use AI-powered dev tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot).
- Pragmatic builder with a knack for simplifying complex systems.
- Product-oriented mindset with a focus on solving user problems.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure services and APIs in a serverless cloud environment.
- Own domain-specific services end-to-end from architectural design to deployment and monitoring.
- Use AI-powered development tools like Claude Code, Cursor, and Copilot daily to ship code.
- Champion engineering excellence by improving testing, deployment, and observability workflows.
- Mentor engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and design discussions.
