Requirements
- Senior or Lead level backend and architecture experience with shipped production systems.
- Strong understanding of failure modes such as retries, idempotency, data consistency, and race conditions.
- Expertise in message queues and eventing systems.
- Implementation of observability and logging patterns.
- Proven experience with rigorous testing methods including Integration, E2E, and Regression testing.
- Proficiency with Python and FastAPI.
- Experience with PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with NATS, RabbitMQ, or Kafka.
- Experience with OIDC/SSO and authentication protocols.
- Knowledge of Docker and CI/CD ready workflows.
- Ability to work with external APIs including Box, HubSpot, Graph, and Asana.
Responsibilities
- Design architecture slices and minimal service contracts for APIs and events.
- Develop data models for Matter-ID and mapping rules including idempotency keys.
- Implement workflow layers including retries, backoff strategies, dead-letter queues, replays, and deduplication.
- Configure security and SSO, including roles, permissions, and secrets management.
- Build a comprehensive audit trail with correlation IDs and distributed tracing.
- Establish QA gates with E2E and regression testing for shipping, deadlines, and audit processes.
