Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, data science, clinical discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 7 years of professional sourcing experience.
- Thorough knowledge of supply chain principles, practices, and financial analysis.
- Comprehensive skills in advanced data analytics and procurement practices.
- Proficiency with Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization and business intelligence platforms.
- Understanding of Lean methodology and technical problem-solving techniques.
- Experience with contract construction, review, and redlining.
- Strong analytical skills, including ability to construct TCO, EVC, and NPV analyses.
- Demonstrated project management, organizational, and planning skills.
- Ability to build and maintain productive relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.
- Healthcare industry experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic sourcing activities for complex initiatives to achieve cost reductions and productivity improvements.
- Manage competitive sourcing processes, including RFI, RFP, and RFQ execution.
- Conduct complex contract negotiations and monitor supplier performance through business reviews.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends and maintain dashboards using tools like Power BI or Tableau.
- Collaborate with senior management, legal, and stakeholders to deploy functional area priorities.
- Oversee vendor and contract labor management, centralizing strategy and optimizing spend.
- Drive system-wide standardization and promote a lean/process excellence culture.
