Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related technical/engineering field.
- Minimum of 7 years relevant experience.
- In-depth knowledge of strength of materials and structural mechanics.
- Familiarity with industry standards and design codes such as ASME, ACI, ASCE, and AISC.
- Experience in conducting seismic and impact-based dynamic analyses, geotechnical, and geophysical engineering.
- Experience in modular design development of SSCs.
- Proficiency with software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Tekla, and Revit.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work with limited supervision.
- Nuclear industry experience preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- Master’s degree preferred.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and oversee the construction and maintenance of infrastructure projects.
- Perform overall design and analysis of safety and non-safety related structures for nuclear and commercial projects.
- Interface with mechanical, nuclear, operations, and electrical engineering teams for structural design.
- Ensure design compliance with International regulatory criteria and industry best practices.
- Perform advanced engineering calculations using traditional methods or Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
- Generate and review civil layout plans, foundation details, and steelwork details.
- Provide guidance to more junior colleagues.
