Requirements
- 10+ years of professional Java software development experience in product-focused environments.
- 5+ years of experience designing and scaling highly distributed, high-availability systems.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming principles and software design patterns.
- Experience with API design and RESTful services (e.g., Spring or Jersey frameworks).
- Solid understanding of relational databases and data modeling.
- Experience with large-scale system architecture, including asynchronous processing and client-server models.
- Familiarity with caching systems such as Redis.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate complex technical challenges.
- Experience with quality assurance practices and building reliable production systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of scalable backend services in Java, with a focus on triggers, conditions, and event-driven platform capabilities.
- Build and enhance high-availability systems that support large-scale IT operations across global environments.
- Contribute to architectural decisions, ensuring systems are maintainable, performant, and aligned with long-term product strategy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, refine technical solutions, and deliver high-quality features.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, promoting engineering best practices and code quality standards.
- Own technical initiatives end-to-end, from design through implementation, testing, and production delivery.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and drive improvements across distributed systems and backend services.
