Requirements
- 7+ years of product management experience with deep ownership of hardware-enabled systems, including embedded systems and hardware-software integration.
- Full hardware phase ownership experience: PRD through EVT, DVT, PVT, and mass production.
- Direct accountability for system-level requirements and cross-device trade-offs.
- Strong technical foundation in perception and sensing technologies such as cameras, radar, thermal, BLE beacons, and audio.
- Ability to work fluently with hardware, firmware, and software engineers on technical requirements and constraints.
- Proven ability to hold your own in a schematic review or a firmware debug session.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for creating clear technical PRDs and trade-off analyses.
Responsibilities
- Define and maintain system-level requirements and architecture across all current and future hardware devices.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate sensing technologies, assess technical feasibility, and tie findings to business expansion opportunities.
- Refine product strategy through all hardware development phases including Concept, EVT, DVT, PVT, and mass production.
- Identify integration gaps and surface technical trade-off recommendations to engineering leadership.
- Collaborate with implementation teams to translate deployment constraints into actionable product requirements.
- Utilize AI to analyze device telemetry, maintain knowledge bases, and accelerate feedback loops from field observations.
