Requirements
- 3 years of related experience in a travel agency, airline, or wholesale travel agency.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Lotus Notes/Microsoft Outlook.
- Expert knowledge of all aspects of the Sabre airline reservations system, including booking, ticketing, exchanges, and pricing.
- Ability to work independently and think quickly.
- Must be available for an initial 4-6 week paid training period.
- Flexible schedule requiring availability for night and weekend shifts (6pm-6am M-F, 5pm-6am S-S).
Responsibilities
- Process urgent air travel outside of business hours for shipboard officers, crew, guest entertainers, vendors, contractors, and shoreside employees.
- Support cruise guests experiencing travel disruptions or requiring assistance with flight arrangements.
- Administer hotel and ground transportation arrangements for shipboard and shoreside staff.
- Answer phone calls and monitor emails for urgent corporate travel requests.
- Identify optimal combinations of price, convenience, and comfort to issue air tickets.
- Provide cross-functional support to the Company Travel team as needed.
- Maintain adherence to all department-specific policies and procedures.
