Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a civil litigation paralegal.
- Strong focus on discovery and document preparation.
- Experience with California state courts is preferred; federal court experience is a plus.
- Technological proficiency with legal software such as Clio.
- Comfortable using AI tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage complex cases and deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a legal team.
- Flexible availability for required overlap during California (PST) business hours.
Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end management of civil litigation cases, ensuring all elements from filing to closure are handled efficiently.
- Draft, prepare, and summarize discovery documents independently, ensuring compliance with all legal requirements.
- Prepare pleadings, motions, deposition notices, and subpoenas with precision and attention to detail.
- Own and track all court-related deadlines and ensure timely filing and service of legal documents.
- Utilize Clio and EVE AI tools to enhance drafting and workflow.
- Prepare medical summaries and organize supporting documentation for case development.
- Manage service of documents and filing workflows.
- Coordinate with attorneys to ensure notes are provided and deadlines are met.
