- Minimum of six (6) years of CAD software experience
Requirements
- Minimum of six (6) years of CAD software experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Associate degree in drafting or a related field (preferred).
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to contribute and work well on a team.
- Ability to work under minimal direction and supervision.
- Willingness to travel for in-office activities, client meetings, and site visits.
Responsibilities
- Perform intermediate to advanced-level design and drafting assignments independently.
- Select and recommend design approaches for engineering staff.
- Prepare preliminary designs and review project specifications.
- Run calculations, update drawings, and determine material needs.
- Coordinate efforts of less experienced technicians and provide mentorship.
- Collaborate with technical staff to solve engineering and design needs.
- Attend client meetings as required.
- Conduct site visits in various terrains and weather conditions during construction.
