Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Leadership, Counseling, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in student support, academic advising, training, or higher education operations.
  • Proven experience designing and delivering training programs, onboarding initiatives, and professional development content.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional initiatives and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills, including writing, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and learning management systems such as Canvas.
  • Ability to work in a structured, student-focused environment with attention to service quality and compliance.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for institutional events, graduations, or staff development activities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of onboarding, training, and professional development programs for advising and student success teams.
  • Develop instructional materials, online courses, and documentation (including LMS platforms such as Canvas) to ensure consistent service delivery.
  • Coach, mentor, and support staff development while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness using performance metrics, feedback, and data analysis to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Partner with academic departments, financial aid, military education partners, and other stakeholders to ensure aligned advising practices.
  • Serve as a key liaison between regional teams to standardize processes and improve cross-functional coordination.
  • Support operational decision-making, including scholarship committee participation and discretionary funding reviews.
  • Contribute to process improvements, student support enhancements, and strategic initiatives across regional operations.
