Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 0–2 years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, or government contracting environments.
  • Understanding or exposure to government compliance frameworks such as FAR and CAS.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Ability to manage deadlines effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with systems such as Costpoint, Cognos, or OnBase is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support government audits and internal inquiries by gathering, validating, and analyzing documentation.
  • Coordinate audit responses with DCAA and internal stakeholders.
  • Prepare incurred cost submissions, financial reports, and supporting documentation.
  • Perform financial reconciliations, data validation, and monthly cost monitoring.
  • Evaluate cost allowability and compliance using FAR and CAS.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to research cost issues and accounting practices.
