Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of experience in software development within enterprise environments.
- Proven experience as a Technical Lead or Task Lead on federal IT or mission-critical systems.
- Strong hands-on experience with: C#, ASP.NET, .NET Framework, SQL Server, and web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, XML).
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and modern SDLC practices.
- Strong understanding of release management, testing strategies, and deployment processes.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and executive/non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working with federal compliance and performance standards (e.g., IRS or similar frameworks).
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and collaboration skills in fast-paced environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing enhancement of enterprise applications within an Agile environment.
- Oversee daily development activities and ensure timely delivery of high-quality, mission-critical software releases.
- Manage operations and maintenance activities, including defect resolution, system upgrades, performance optimization, and enhancements.
- Coordinate release planning and execution across development, UAT, and production environments.
- Ensure applications comply with federal standards, including security, performance, and testing requirements.
- Serve as the primary technical liaison between development teams, government stakeholders, and program leadership.
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior developers, promoting best practices in coding, DevOps, and testing.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, including automation, process optimization, and system scalability.
