Requirements

  • Proven success in direct B2B sales of innovative industrial technology solutions, ideally combining hardware and software offerings.
  • Extensive experience managing complex, high-value enterprise sales within large industrial organizations.
  • Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to influence multiple stakeholders across technical, operational, procurement, and executive levels.
  • Experience developing territory strategies, managing pipelines, and delivering accurate sales forecasting through CRM platforms.
  • Highly proactive, resilient, and customer-focused with excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly to customer sites throughout the assigned territory.
  • Residence in the U.S. Rust Belt region or nearby states is preferred.
  • Experience selling into the Metals, Minerals, Cement, Pulp & Paper, or broader heavy manufacturing industries is highly desirable.
  • Background in robotics, industrial automation, industrial inspection, or maintenance technologies is considered a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic territory and account plans to generate new business and achieve ambitious sales targets.
  • Identify, pursue, and close complex enterprise sales opportunities with large industrial organizations.
  • Manage long sales cycles by engaging multiple stakeholders, including operational leaders, procurement teams, and executive decision-makers.
  • Build trusted customer relationships by understanding operational challenges and presenting tailored, value-driven solutions with measurable business impact.
  • Prepare commercial proposals, negotiate contracts, and guide opportunities through the complete sales process.
  • Represent the organization at industry events, trade shows, customer demonstrations, and networking opportunities to strengthen market presence.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline management, and CRM records while providing regular updates on business performance and market trends.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful customer onboarding and long-term account success.
